CLUB RESPONSIBILITIES TO DISTRICT 7280
 
 
  1. Monthly Attendance and Membership Report – Due the 10th of every month.  The Monthly Attendance and Membership Report must contain the following five (5) items: Name of Club, Month of Report, Number of Members at the End of the Month, Percentage of Attendance for Month, and Number of Meetings Conducted During Month.  The Monthly Attendance and Membership Report is the only item that must be included in the Governor’s District Newsletter and submitted to Rotary International.

Best Way to Submit: Post on the “Club Monthly Attendance and Membership Report” Form on the Secretary’s Page of the District 7280 website ( www.district7280.org ).

  1. Change in Club Meeting Day, Time or Location – This information is posted on the District 7280 website and given to the District Governor.

Best Way to Submit: Post on the “Change in Club Meeting Day, Time or Location Report” Form on the Secretary’s Page of the District 7280 website ( www.district7280.org ).

  1. Election and/or Change of Club President, Secretary, Foundation Chair , Membership Chair  or Public Relations Chair – This information is used by various officers and committees of the district with some of the information being posted on the District 7280 website.

Best Way to Submit: Post on the Change and/or Election using one of the four forms provided on the District 7280 website ( www.district7280.org ).

  1. Annual District Directory Membership Data Update – Due February 1st and again May 15th. - The District Directory Membership Data is prepared on an Excel spreadsheet and can be submitted to the district by either email (preferred method) or by US Postal Service.  This data is used to prepare mailing labels for the annual mailing to each member concerning District Conference and to prepare the District Directory.

  1. Annual District Dues and PETS Assessment – Mailed to Club Secretaries in early-February and due no later than March 30. - The dues are calculated on a per capita basis on your July 1st membership by the rate established by the President-Elects at PETS.  The PETS assessment is currently set at $100 per club and since there is a Rotary International mandate requiring the president-elects attendance at PETS this assessment is made regardless of attendance.

  1. Supplemental Billing – Mailed to Club Secretaries in April and due no later than May 15. - The Supplemental Billing will only be sent to those clubs with additional charges; i.e., additional attendees at PETS, district hosting of club websites, etc.
